Beautiful Junipers & Pines, lots of wildlife and nice camping spots spaced apart. I ❤ this mountain.

The Thousand Trails Verde Valley RV Resort is a lovely Thousand Trails RV park located in Cottonwood, Arizona in the Verde Valley. The park is very well-kept and maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The premium sites are unbelievably huge in size and have upgraded FHU. The views…
Nice forested area in Prescott Forest. Few level sites for my rig and lots of nails on the ground from pallet wood.
Pretty cool spot right on the rio verde river, showers don’t cost extra $. Laundry is affordable, Jerome is just up the hill. Looks like if you had a shuttle car you could probably float the river to or from camp.
We were very lucky to get one of there 50 Amp spots in the newest areas. We had good cell service at our spot. There was plenty of room at our spot as we had two trucks our 5th wheel trailer and a cargo trailer. Very quiet spot with great view of the valley below. They also have a nice 1 mile…
This place is huge. 10mph strictly enforced so you can let your kids ride bikes and not worry about cars. Sites are huge ours had grass. As with most thousand trails spots are first come first serve which is definitely a pain especially with a place this big that is usually full. Pool was…
Basic, but really clean. Xlnt bathrooms. Host is superb. Makes it worth the price which is a little steep. Not much to do at the actual site but good location to get to lots of things and places. You’ll want a vehicle (besides your rig obviously). This is less a ‘hang out at the campsite’…
These dispersed spots are a good ways outside of Prescott. It’s a nice getaway after being in the busy Sedona area for the past five days. Some mosquitoes were still around but they left me alone after dark. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of trash at the campsite, left by previous occupants.
Their resort is the best one for the money. Their bathrooms are designed for UNISEX so it is no gender issue and nice place to shower, etc. where the laundromats are in several spots.
It has nice path for people to hike, fish, or explore in the wood.
The pool area is nice for toddlers with all…
Its a nice place to camp. We are here a week and so far so good. Downside is there is no doggy park. Enjoying this place and all are friendly.
Facilities were clean and the amenities were well taken care of.
This place is so pretty! So easy to get to so that was really nice! Loved the views! We were at campsite 4 and it was right by a river and this really cool cave thing! Only down side was there was so many little bugs flying around so they got really annoying at night.

Lots to do in the surrounding area, including a winery right outside the gate. Good RV and tent campsites. Nice pool and spa area, lodge area, library and mini golfing green.
Stunning sunrise. It gets chilly quick up there.
