What goes up must come down

The road out to Lake Louise has huge frost heaves. You have been warned. Slow down. The lake is beautiful and a great place to kayak or do any other water sport.

The bugs are TERRIBLE. My poor dogs got eaten alive by the no see ums. We actually decided to leave they were so bad. The campground is on passive maintenance which means the bathrooms were locked and there is no trash service.

If you have an RV or screened in pavilion you can put up it is worth it. Otherwise stay in the car or break out the big suit. We could not just leave the dogs in the car because it was so hot. Now to keep them from licking their bites.
