Tenderfoot Campground

My boyfriend and I wanted to camp here so we could do a day hike down the Summit Creek trail which is right down the road. We got to the campsite at around 11am, paid, and went to our site. It was really nice - had a good fire pit, nice big wood picnic table and a bear locker, and also a bathroom for people to use. Was on a gravel pit. Later that day at around 11pm we were luckily still awake by the campfire when the campground host came and accused us of being there without paying. We showed her our site permit and we all walked down to show her where he put the envelope with the money. She was VERY rude, and made us pay again. About 30 minutes later (luckily, we were still awake around midnight now) and she found the original amount we paid and she reimbursed us (BUT she shorted us $2), she said it was stuck to someone else's. The campsite was very nice but after the campground host accused us of "stealing the site" we will not be returning, there are plenty of other good campgrounds in that area we would prefer to give our business to.
