The park’s 586 campsites are spread over 320 acres and offer ample opportunities to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Campsites include 102-30 amp waterfront campsites, 18-30 amp sewer waterfront campsites, 211-30 amp sewer campsites, 216-30 amp base campsites. For guests who prefer to stay in a camping cabin, the park has seven camping cabins to choose from, camping cabin 2 is handicap accessible. Each air conditioned cabin has a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Guests will need to bring their own bed linens, towels, cooking and eating utensils.
The 39 premium campsite amenities include; water, sewer, 50/30/20 amp electrical, water front access, and TV service. Three of the newly renovated sites are handicap accessible. Bathhouse and playground facilities are conveniently located throughout the park.
Separate from the above campsites we have an area restricted to equestrian camping. These 20 campsites are first come first serve and all have 30 amp electrical and water service.

We have accessibility to Lake Martin! Kayak rentals, swimming area with beach, , fishing, grilling, campfire area, hunting, boat ramp available, and a dock for boats.
Update: We are strictly primitive with no bathhouse, we have a porta potty for usage May-September. Also our swimming area dries up with the Lake being lowered late October-early March . But can still have water usage for boat/kayak thru boat ramp across street.
Holiday Campground is a 319-acre wooded lake-view peninsula offering 163 sites for tents and RVs. This pet-friendly campground provides shaded and full-sun waterfront lots, electric and water hookups, primitive lots, group camping for up to 80 persons, single and double sites, and paved back-in and pull-through drives from 25 to 78 feet. So so so worth going, I didn’t leave to go anywhere, the hikes was awesome to see. The camp site I stayed was beautiful woke got to see the sun set. I rode my motorcycle there so for anyone who ride there motorcycle just be aware there some uneven site for your motorcycle to park. Unless you’re tall and you don’t have problem handling your bike. I’m 5,0 so it was learning curve me to see if I could handle my motorcycle up hill and down hill for campsites
The host is so welcoming! Clean restrooms. The baby goats were a fun little surprise!
A gorgeous serene park with great staff, spacious spots, beautiful views and tons of hiking!
This has a good road and decent open spots to set-up. Overlanders (w/rtt) will be the most happy. Open areas have tall grass a but, but some have enough pine trees the pine needles make for better ground camping. Small camper trailers could probably make it too. Just be mindful of turn around spots.
I arrived late so harder to find spots. Mid-week so no one else here.

Came with a group of friends from town to relax and disconnect. Services are great some cabins and tents having ACs, but primitive camping allowed as well. Great showers and bathhouse with filtered drinking water option that I used daily. Several hiking trails, but also roads to allow those who prefer to ride. They do offer ice, drink and snack delivery service with QR codes in each area. Definitely a place that I plan to revisit, but would refer friends to come as well for a weekend getaway.
Pack some water and head out. Great hikes with water falls. Pit toilet, no water, critter proof trash cans. First come first serve. Cash box available to pay. We had cell service. Used 10' trailer/ camper. No hookups or running water.
We started our hike in from Chinnabee silent trail parking and headed up toward chinnabee lake. We found this spot nearby the big swimming hole "devils den" about 1/2 a mile from the chinnabee lake parking area. We stayed at campsite 9. For 2 nights in April and it was amazing. Little to no bugs, plenty of trees for shade and hammock camping. And a good fire ring built from large river rocks. Plenty of wood around for a fire though it was mostly pine that burnt extremely well but left resin on all our cookware. This site was comfortable for our group of 4 but we felt like we were almost at max capacity at this site. I give this spot 2 👍🏻👍🏻
 this is a great campsite. You might need four-wheel-drive to get up to the ruins, but maybe not. Mary the caretaker of the area could easily tell you and is a great communicator and very helpful. I highly recommend this area. 
Hawksrvpark.godaddysites.com is their web page. The place is quiet and peaceful right next to lay lake in Alabama. They have spacious sights water electric on-site trash. Pick up on-site sewage Hook up available on all of their sites free firing. The places just awesome. The people are awesome.
Spent two days at this park on a premium lot while visiting the University of Auburn. Park was clean and quiet. Hook-ups worked as expected. There’s a discount store right across the street - they have everything, which was a plus! Will stay again.
But also poorly signed and the front desk is pretty unhelpful. She asked if I had been here before and I said no and yet she never explained there was a code to get in. Frustrating at best. It is a huge campground, can't imagine the number of people in the summer. Seems I drove past some wilderness areas and hikes on the way in. We won't get to explore them on this visit.
We live full time in an RV, stay at hundreds of campgrounds and this is the WORST experience we’ve ever had!!! The owners son in law goes around harassing people for the littlest thing and driving around taking pictures of you and your RV!!! This guy is EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. My husband left a review of the issues we had up until this post and the next day he got into my husbands face about half of our rug being on the grass when he has seen it multiple times(the other times he came banging on our door). When my husband said he can be nicer about it, he told him he will escort us off the property. There are multiple reviews saying the same thing below about this guy with the owners saying“he does not reflect our values” but they are LYING and in on it!! If you guys care so much about the damn grass then don’t own an RV park! Mark my words, this will be the worst stay you ever have and will ruin whatever relaxing trip you were trying to go on.
This place is exquisite in every way. Beautiful scenery and perfectly clean grounds, water areas are fun and safe, lots of privacy and plenty of room to explore. Love the staff manners and information. This place is the BOMB!
I called ahead and found they use to be harvest hosts and that is when they had campers. They no longer host but did allow me to sleep there for the night. Every friendly people and quiet location next to a muscadine vineyard. Nice enough to allow me to use their plumbed restroom as well (I'm in a tiny camper).

This site has been cleaned up and expanded since I last stayed here. The space is in a really beautiful area near the parking area for Lake Chinnabee and a few minutes down the trail from Devil's Den Falls. It has an established fire pit and several clear flat areas for tents. The creek runs right alongside so there is easy access to water and it provides a peaceful background sound during the night. Another nice feature of this campground is that it sits at the intersection of multiple trails.
Just arrived mid Sunday afternoon. Booked a site 4 months ago to find we have been allocated a different site. Reception closed and the promised man to greet us wasn’t expecting us, therefore we have no info about the park. There is no cable tv as your site says and we have yet to be able to join the wifi! No park plan. Not impressed - at the cost of our site per night, we expected a lot better.
We spend three months a year on the road and are experienced travellers.

Great get away camping. Nothing nearby. Talledega is 45 minutes away. No Verizon signal at all couldn’t even make a call. There is a cell phone tower on top of the mountain but not sure of the carrier. We stayed on the top campground elevation 2474ft.
In order to get in the campground, you have to have a code texted to you, no other way in! We had a pull through spot (I). The spot was slightly unlevel on the right side.Although there was loud interstate noise, it was still peaceful with the babbling creek in front of our site. There was a shower room, restrooms, laundry facilities available and all were clean. A huge beautiful pool and a children's pool, all were kept up nicely.
Very clean, very quiet, and very spacious state park. Bathhouse was nice and clean. Nice roads.. decently level pads. The views are amazing!!
Great, quiet park with lots of walking and biking trails nearby. All the sites are wooded and spaced out so you don’t have any issues with privacy. From what we could tell, all of the sites have direct lake access. We visited in July and because of the tree coverage, we were able to sit outside most of the day without getting too hot. This is definitely one of our new favorite parks!
Traveling through the area fairly often, I stayed here every other week over a 3 month period. The host was very friendly and oriented me to things I might need in the area. (Groceries, Hardware store, Food, etc.) Every check in gets escorted to their campsite, guided in, and he personally checks the water hook up and the power pole to make sure it works. Ground crews are constantly out making sure the areas stay neat and clean. The sites are gravel and are mostly level, I believe the most I had to adjust was 1.5". Every site has a concrete patio with a table. The laundry and showers are cleaned every day and work as expected. Washer is $2 and dryer is $2. Lots of long term renters present in the campground, but I never had a bad interaction with any of them. Large fenced in area for dogs, but being dogless in my travels....I never used it. There is an open field that connects to an oyster bar on the West side of the park with descent food. To the South of the park is a small pond with a walking track.
All in all this is a GREAT place to stay. the only reason I gave 4 stars is that there's not a lot of shade. Every site has a small tree next to it, but it's not much.
Site 16 Back in Gravel 50 amp Water Amazing site on the water! Spacious site, plenty of privacy. Very clean cg. Bathrooms nearby, but showers are around the corner. Very clean, just older. Plenty of walking, and biking over the dam into Alabama! Beautiful lake for swimming, canoes, or kayaking.

This campground is so beautiful. We walked all of the loops. Some are pretty steep. We were in a buddy site that backed up to the lake. The water was a bit icky looking (not just from the red clay, but it had a layer of algae on it). We rode our bikes to the damn area, which was really cool!
2 days ran us $32 power right next to the cement RV pad and grassy shaded areas abundant. Camp host wasn't visible, the next morning they were very understanding in letting uz stay another night. 24 hour showers and a firepit wirh water. Dont let the 5pm cut off for the office scare ya off, the gate does close at 9pm so give em a hollar.
