Small and open

This is an ideal spot to ride bikes and cook a campfire lunch. There is a large pavilion and many table/fire grill areas, but there is no dense wooded camping areas. It says primitive camping, but there is a lot of asphalt and no areas to be hidden from public view. It is however very quite due to it not being a very big public attraction, but there is only ONE RV slot on this site. There is a boat ramp to access the Tombigbee River, but i would not suggest this spot for recreational water activities due to the river being blocked by a dam a mile from the ramp. The public bathrooms are very scary, but the woods ain’t far. The bugs swarmed me, but i was next to the river in the summer. Overnight camping fee is $16.
