Beautiful Trails

The campsites are good size and great for tents and hammocks. AT&T and Sprint have only enough service to make calls at the sites. Prescribed burn closed all the trails at the trailhead so we took a drive up to Brazil Creek trailhead. The trails there were one of a kind and the best looking trails I’ve seen and walked on after going on trips to almost half the country. The 100 foot tall pine trees really make Mark Twain National Forest amazing. Overall, great campground and will be going back soon.

View of a lifetime

Stayed in a RV for 2 nights. Absolutely amazing. You couldn’t pick a better spot to stay. Marina and beach is walking distance away. If your coming from the Midwest or anywhere not from the area, the scenic view of the lake and cliffs will blow your mind!

Beautiful Park with Multiple Terrains

Campsites were great. Stayed at a walk-in site for a night and enjoyed it. Some sites are closer to the highway and cars flying down the road can make it hard to sleep but after midnight, they stopped. Trails are beautiful and perfect for families wanting to just come to a park for a day and hikers. Can’t go wrong for a 10$ a night campsite with restrooms and water available. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to camp!
