About

Paradise Ridge is a private group campground offering both privacy and proximity, less than one mile from the Nisqually/Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier.

Do you hike? This is your spot. We are so close to the entrance that you won’t have to wait in the agonizingly long line to enter the park.

What about fishing? We have you covered with the Nisqually River less than a mile away and Alder Lake is a quick 15 minute drive.

Is biking your preference? Highway 706 is a popular training ground for road bikers and there are dozens of mountain biking trails within a short drive of the campground.

Or are you just wanting some peace and tranquility? Stop your search, Paradise Ridge offers way more privacy and peacefulness than you will get in any public campground.

- 3 spacious campsites

- 30 amp power and 120 power outlets- Non-potable water and port a potty

- We welcome your dog(s).

Good Spot

We were comfortable.  The entrance was difficult to identify and gate was a nuisance, but the porta potty was super clean as was the campsite.  Site 3 was pretty small for a pull through even though our trailer is less than 20' and the picnic table was awkward.  I would have set up differently if I was staying longer, but just a couple of nights and overall we were pleased with the location and atmosphere.

Great location

Campsite was clean, small and not super secluded, but very close to Mount Rainier. So close, in fact, that if there’s traffic going into the park, there’s traffic getting to the campground (unless there’s a back way I was unaware of?) We went early to beat the crowds but on the way out of the park traffic was backed up over a mile. We also went on one of the busiest weekends of the year so I’m sure most days it’s not as much of an issue.

Adequate Campground slightly misleading description

The campground was perfectly adequate for our needs and super close to the park. Unfortunately the description makes it seems like there are 30amp hooks at every site which is not true. There is a hookup at site 1 and a hookup in the common area (not very useful as it is too far away from the sites). A on site hookup would have been nice in this heat to turn on our van’s ac.

Thank you for the thoughtful review Nate! While we in no way have misrepresented our campground/campsites, I do understand how it could be misinterpreted that there are electrical outlets in every campsite.

We have taken this into consideration and have updated our descriptions to reflect your input.

We hope to host you again in the future!
